Dennis spent two weeks in Nashville, Tennessee sharing his original music on many different stages. A real highlight for him was performing songs from his debut EP to a sold out audience in Leipers Fork. On this night he met artists from around the world, many of whom he had the opportunity of sharing the stage with and/or co-writing songs with. Dennis left Nashville fuelled with inspiration and gratitude for all the amazing opportunities and so many great memories.
TAMWORTH COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL
The 2025 Tamworth Country Music Festival was a time for Dennis to share his original music to large crowds and to catch up with fellow musicians and mates from around the country and overseas. He performed on many stages throughout the festival to some very interactive audiences. A real highlight this year was when Award Winning Australian Country Music Artist Travis Collins asked Dennis to join him and his band for a special performance on the iconic Tamworth Town Hall Stage. Woodford
Folk Festival

The Woodford Folk Festival is held annually over six days and six nights, from Dec 27th through to January 1st. More than 2,000 local, national and international, artists, musicians and presenters grace the stages of Woodfordia.
The festival begins each year with the iconic Opening Ceremony and closes with the spectacular showcase, on New Year’s Day. This year was the 37th Woodford Folk Festival and the 30th held at Woodfordia.
It is the largest gathering of artists and musicians in Australia.
Dennis performed a show on New Year’s Eve at Bob’s Bar, where he shared his original music and a couple of covers to an attentive and interactive audience.
Monte Music Muster 23-11-24
An afternoon/evening full of live music from local and interstate artists. Held at Monte Ale House in Slacks Creek Queensland. Dennis shared songs off his debut EP and some new unreleased music to a crowd of country music lovers.
Dennis had his own solo show on the Kombi Keg Bush Bar at the 2024 Gympie Music Muster. He showcased all the tracks off his debut EP titled ‘Dead in the Water’ as well as a few crowd favourites.
He also made a guest appearance with Australian singer/songwriter and 2024 Toyota Starmaker winner Wade Forster on the MacDaddy Stomp Stage and joined the Davisson Brothers Band (from USA) on the Crow Bar Stage for a great rendition of the classic John Denver hit ‘Take Me Home Country Roads’.
When he wasn’t on the stage, Dennis spent his time catching up with mates and fellow musicians jamming around the campfire.
The 2024 Gympie Music Muster holds the new record for ticket sales. The four day event held in Amamoor State Forest brings artists and music lovers from all over Australia and internationally together for a lot of good times and great music!
2024 GYMPIE MUSIC MUSTER
THE CLAW COUNTRY MUSIC NIGHT 2024
Dennis opened the evening of live music, with a set of covers and some of his original music. Held at The Claw in Brisbane the event drew many country music fans, line dancers and good ole country fun!
Andy Penkow Tour
Dennis showcased a set of his original music as he opened the show for Award winning Singer/Songwriter Andy Penkow at the Brisbane leg of his ‘Bottom Shelf’ Tour. Held at South Brisbane venue It’s Still A Secret, the show had performances from Dennis Comino, Lisa De Angelis and headlining act Andy Penkow. It was a night of good times and great music to a full house!
TCMF Best Of The Buskers Concert 2024
Every year at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, buskers line the streets providing music to the crowds. This year at the 52nd TCMF festival there was a record breaking 370 buskers lining Peel Street. Ten of the best buskers were chosen by a panel of industry judges and from the online voting system for people’s choice. Dennis was a part of the top ten. The top 10 buskers put on a show on the main stage in Toyota Park to a live audience. And a top three were announced, with Dennis placing third.
Song Of The Year Showcase
Showcasing original music from upcoming Brisbane artists
Dennis and his band performed his original music to a live audience on the main stage at The Triffid in Brisbane as part of the inaugural Song Of The Year Showcase. Dennis’ band consisted of Dan Ferguson on lead, Nathan Ferguson on bass, Joel Ferguson on drums and Ashley Hutton on sax all of whom worked with Dennis in the studio recording of his single ‘Head Over Heels’.

The Song Of The Year Showcase was a night full of live music from some of Brisbane’s best upcoming new talent. They showcased their original songs to a live audience of music lovers, fellow musicians and industry professionals. The event was hosted by Music Industry College Principal Brett Wood and Powderfinger’s iconic Bassist John Collins.
2023 GYMPIE MUSIC MUSTER
With record breaking crowds, the 2023 Gympie Music Muster was full of live music and good times. Dennis spent 6 nights camping with mates and performing on some amazing stages to large crowds of live music supporters in the Amamoor State Forest, Gympie Qld. He was also asked to share the stage with his 2021 CMAA Junior Academy Mentor, Jayne Denham at her live and acoustic set. Alongside performing Dennis spent time catching up with his mates as well as meeting other artists.
The 2023 Country Music Showdown
Held at the RNA Showgrounds in Brisbane during the Royal Queensland Show (Ekka). Dennis was one of the top 8 artists to make the finals in the Junior Competition, sponsored by Ariat Australia. On the day of the competition all of the artists were required to sing two songs to a panel of judges and a live audience at the XXXX Stockman’s Bar and Grill. Dennis covered the Everly Brothers classic '“When Will I Be Loved” with the Ekka House Band and performed a solo acoustic version of his own original song called “One Last Day”. A song he wrote about the passing of his family pet dog Georgie. His highly energetic and emotional performance awarded Dennis second place overall.
Caloundra Country Volume 3
An evening full of live country music from local and established Australian Country Music Artists. Held over two stages at Norton Music Factory, this festival brought high energy and good times! Dennis opened the evening performing a solo acoustic set of cover songs and his original music to a very interactive crowd!
The Song Muster 2023
Dennis spent 4 days at The Australian Institute of Country Music writing songs with emerging and established Australian Musicians. On the last night of The Song Muster, the artists performed their new songs to the local community in Gympie. Songs Of The Silver Screen
Young emerging musicians performed Songs of the Silver Screen to a sold out audience at The Triffid in Brisbane. Dennis closed the show with an incredibly talented band performing an extremely energetic cover of Footloose.

Dennis performed a set of cover songs and original music on the Courtyard Stage at The Regatta Hotel in Brisbane as part of the Town and Country Weekend. A three day festival with 3 stages hosting some of Australia’s talented country music artists.
THE
ROAD TRIP
TOUR
As an official Cole Clark Artist, Dennis was invited to Bayswater in Victoria to do a Cole Clark Factory Tour to see where and how these amazing guitars are made. Dennis decided to make the most of his road trip down to Victoria and turn it into a tour. He shared his original music and a few of his favourite covers as he travelled over 4000 kilometres making his way from Brisbane to Victoria then up to Tamworth for the 2023 Country Music Festival. During the 27 days of the Tour, he visited 9 towns and played 19 gigs, including his first headlining show in Melbourne.

Dennis took part in the 40th Annual Gympie Music Muster 2022. This year Australia’s original and most loved camping and music muster saw more than 100 artists performing on 6 different stages showcasing a mix of county, roots, blues, folk and rock music. Dennis was asked to perform three shows throughout the Muster, showcasing his original music mixed with a couple of his favourite covers too.
Ekka Country Music Showdown
Dennis was one of 8 emerging artists to make it to the finals in the annual Ringers Western Country Music Showdown held at the XXXX Stockman’s Bar and Grill during the Ekka. All artists were required to sing two songs to a live audience with a backing band they had never worked with before. Dennis sang an original song called ‘You and I’ and a cover of the Johnny Cash classic ‘Folsom Prison Blues’. He took home third place in the competition!
‘We Built This City’ Showcase
An evening showcasing music from bands and artists who began their careers here in Brisbane. The songs were performed by upcoming musicians of Music Industry College on the main stage at The Triffid to a sold out audience. Dennis shared the stage with many talented musicians on the night performing songs from a range of different genres and eras. It was a night fuelled with high energy and great entertainment!
