19-year-old Brisbane-based singer-songwriter Dennis Comino is quickly making his mark on Australia’s music scene with his powerhouse vocals, impressive guitar skills, and infectious energy both on and off the stage. An official Cole Clark Guitars Touring Artist and 2021 Junior Graduate of the Academy of Country Music, Dennis has already performed at some of the country’s biggest festivals, including the Gympie Music Muster, Woodford Folk Festival, and Tamworth Country Music Festival, as well as on multiple stages in Nashville, Tennessee. He has shared the stage with Australian artists Dean Lewis and Travis Collins, and supported Australian acts such as The Wet Whistles, Andy Penkow, Caitlyn Shadbolt, and the iconic Ross Wilson.
Over the past six years actively gigging around Brisbane and surrounding areas, Dennis has been developing his own distinctive sound. Blending elements across genres, Dennis creates music that resonates with audiences of all ages.
In August 2024, he released his debut EP, Dead in the Water—a six-track collection filled with heart, honesty, and grit. The EP shares raw stories of love and heartbreak and was warmly received on airwaves across Australia, the USA, the UK, and Europe.
Dennis’ sound can best be described as folk and alt-country infused with a pop-rock twist, drawing inspiration from artists like Mumford & Sons, Noah Kahan, Travis Collins, Zach Bryan, Sam Fender, and The Lumineers.
Known for his soulful storytelling, Dennis continues to captivate listeners with his newest release, Finish Line—a track that perfectly embodies his heartfelt and authentic songwriting style. Finish Line will be released to all streaming services on 27th November 2025.
